Jim Legxacy dropped his new single today, idk idk. The Lewisham artist announced that he’d be releasing new music this month, and he didn’t disappoint. The track fits perfectly within his discography and proves why Legxacy is truly one of a kind with no regards for trends.
The track has the same melodic sound that we know from Legxacy. The soulful sample joined by smooth 808’s creates the characteristic ‘Black British Music’ feeling.
Taking that into account, it definitely wouldn’t be weird to say that the song could fit seamlessy in the project, which Legxacy released last summer. We hear him talk about personal struggles. Something he also didn’t back away from on the recent mixtape.

The London artist talks about more on the track, though. Legxacy is currently a independent artist and that’s probably not going to change soon. Giving the listener some insight, he talks about how labels would tell him to “to chase a trend”, and that’s exactly what he doesn’t do.
Jim Legxacy remains one of the most unique artists coming out of the UK underground. Mixing different genres and essentialy creating his own. With idk idk it looks like he won’t leave that lane anytime soon.
